Balance Flow Design |
Select from POWER SPOON to short woods to take gentle shots. The “Balance Flow Design” of Yamaha FAIRWAYWOOD clubs provides superb performance suited to the objectives of use.
In our innovative flow design with iron-number gradient, distance to the center of gravity increases with the flow from #5 to #11.
The long irons with high loft deliver ideal impact, while the short woods prevent hooks.
Just as distance to the center of gravity follows an upward gradient from #5 to #11, depth to the center of gravity flows toward shallower settings.
The numbers with longer shafts have deep centers of gravity, ensuring easy liftoff and straight travel. The short woods have shallow centers of gravity, allowing golfers to focus on control of the ball.

Fine-tune your performance to attain both distance and accuracy by selecting from POWER SPOON for superb flight distance and short woods for taking aim precisely.
Yamaha’s Fairway Woods have Balance Flow Design based on our unique “New Long-Shaft Balance Theory.”
Balance flows from POWER SPOOON for realizing maximum flight distance to utility like short woods that rigorously pursue ease of targeting to reduce friction with the ground and revolutionize ease of swing.

“FRICOFF Sole,” designed on the basis of calculations of the sinking of the head at the time of impact, achieves stable sweep. This sole design controls sinking of the head due to the hit-down phenomenon. |

With the Balance Flow Design, long and middle irons achieve high-trajectory flight, and short irons can be stably swung to stabilize swing path. |

Shafts individually designed by iron number use a soft, forged-steel body and “L UNIT Face Structure.” Ideal high-COR* irons give you breathtaking flight and “Fly and Stop” precision.
New concept in balance allows you to swing with the same image of the shot in mind, no matter which number of iron you’re using.
Soft recoil from strike. The soft, forged-steel body of the head is replete with details found only in the highest-grade clubs.
“L UNIT Face Structure” increases the COR power of the face’s lower part, while SUP 10 forged face yields high COR performance.

Long and middle irons offer easy lift for the ball and improved flight distance
Short irons allow for firm hitting, sure aim, and improved shot accuracy

Soft, forged-steel body + L UNIT Face Structurep |
The combination of soft, forged-steel body + L UNIT Face Structure with adjustable lie angle and loft angle improves the COR force of the lower portion of the face and allows you to play aggressive golf with carry distance.
A 6 g tungsten weight is placed in the #5 through #7 irons to dramatically lower the center of gravity, and the just-right distance of 39 mm to the center of gravity allows aggressive carry distance at a height, even with a swinger, for the true grace-in-motion of a “Fly and Stop” ball.

Flight at a height, brake at a height. The embodiment of the ideal iron.
The light balance accelerates the swing speed for a devastating initial ball speed that will leave the others far behind, even when it comes to carries and runs.
The low center of gravity at 17.5 mm (#7) allows you to hit the ball gently, even with strong loft. The stable swing achieves the ideal iron performance, making it possible to take aim and attack from a height.
